    Now just keep going into Austria, make a right onto Rte 198, then a left onto L266 … and you are on the climb over the Hahntennjoch, down to Imst and beyond!

    Seriously, my climbing this year leaves a bit to be desired (some extra kgs that have not come off as business and eating trump training) … but maybe Transalp again in 2014, among the Grand Masters???

      Precisely. I rode to Sonthofen first and then up the Oberjoch. And as the weather was nice and the mood was good I continued aöong the route of the 2011 Transalp. I did about 2% and that was it. Aczually I was thinking about riding to the Hahntenjpch but then I realized that this would be the first day of the Transalp. And back. So today I decided to do something easy: Riedbergpass. Now, after checking with wikipedia I realize that this is the highest pass in Germany (1,420m). More than 600m of climbing up ramps of up to 16%. Riding the 9% slopes felt easy afterwards. Will blog later.
